Restore Love RockOFF was a huge success!
Last Saturday something incredible happened at Downtown 34 Music in Harrisonburg, VA. 7 bands and over 100 people crowded the venue to play music, raise money, and to be educated about the issue of child sex slavery. The bands rocked out and we showed several powerful Love146 video clips detailing the horrendous mistreatment that trafficking victims deal with and the incredible hope that Love146 brings to the lives of victims who are rescued. This event was a partnership between RISE Harrisonburg, a local faith community, and Love146 and was the culmination of Restore Love Month, which we had several events throughout February to benefit Love146. From the Restore Love RockOFF alone, we raised over $500 for Love146. It was amazing to have bands from all walks of life, various faith communities and denominations, all come together for a common cause: to abolish child sex slavery from this planet.
As a result of Restore Love month, our Task Force is growing and we have the members we need to go from "Forming" to "Active" very soon. We are excited about raising awareness about human trafficking and making a difference in our community and beyond.

Restoring Love in the Shenandoah Valley
The Harrisonburg Task Force is growing out of a campaign our faith community is doing throughout February called Restore Love Month. We were amazed at the response to the Kickoff event on Feb. 4, where we began the process of educating and raising awareness about the issue of human trafficking. Lamont Hieber, co-founder of Love146 was there and shared amazing stories of both pain and hope. We are still in the forming stage as we look for new partners for the task force. We are hoping to be a small part in being a voice for the voiceless in the Shenandoah Valley.
Receive Love. Give Love. Repeat.
Blessings,
Phil
