Over the last three years we have seen our task force grow in leaps and bounds. During that time we've been able to organize and take part in many events that not only drew attention to the topic of child sex trafficking, but also raised funds for the programs that Love146 provides. It has been an incredible time for us and we are proud of how the Denver community has stepped up to fight this form of modern-day slavery. We have been touched by how many of you have responded and wanted to be a part of our task force and our goal of eliminating child sex trafficking.

 

As such, we feel we owe it to you all to take a step back and focus on our task force to see where we would like to be in the next three years. We established goals for ourselves three years ago when we first sat down and started talking about forming this group and now as the group has evolved and become what it is now, we have found that we need to take a break and rethink those goals and look at how new ones can fit into our future. During our break, we will not be adding any new members, having meetings, or organizing events as we really want to be able to take this time to focus on our task force and make it even stronger.

 

We will be keeping you all updated on what our plans will be and when we'll be back and planning meetings and events again. We'll have a new mailing list that I will send a link to for those of you wanting to continue on with us. And, of course, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us!
